Gary is a seven-year-old child who has been taken into custody for the murder of two schoolmates with the handgun of his mother's boyfriend. Gary has been diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and his mother is currently a heavy drinker and drug user. The police have been to Gary's apartment several times because Gary's mother's boyfriend is frequently violent toward both of them, and Gary was once removed for over a month to live with his grandmother. Since kindergarten, Gary has shown slow progress and poor social skills. He never does homework, frequently fights with other children, and is known to be a bully. He is old enough to be adjudicated delinquent according to the laws of his state. What factors of Gary's behavior seem to be caused by parental abuse or neglect? Name all that seem to apply. Should Gary be punished or treated for his apparent social and psychological problems? What would be an appropriate disposition for Gary? Should his parents be punished for their role in creating his behavior problems? Why or why not? If you answered yes, to what extent?

As asserted in this module, a key aspect to a successful interview experience is preparation. While everyone will have a slightly different strategy and approach to preparing for an interview. The information and suggestions provided should act as a guide. Create a discussion post to share with your classmates about a few tips or tricks that help you prepare for an interview.  If you have not yet experienced an interview, feel free to discuss strategies you have learned about and you plan on utilizing when the time comes. A.) Please read and respond to the following scenario: Your parents have recently retired and have turned their backyard gardening hobby into a small business growing organic vegetables and herbs. They start their seeds in the winter and plant as the weather allows in spring. Because they are organic, they do not use pesticides. All weeding and pest control are done by hand. The resulting foods are sold either at local farm markets or at a small stand in front of their house. They are fortunate to live in a semi-rural suburb with little zoning regulation that is still close to urban and suburban areas where residents are willing to pay a premium for such foods. In fact, they are able to charge up to 15 percent more than local supermarkets do for similar organic foods. They have built up a strong clientele and could easily sell 50 percent more vegetables if they had more room and more help. They would love the extra money, but at their age are not anxious to buy more land, make huge investments in machinery, or start hiring staff. They also love the interaction with their customers. Clearly, this is a productivity issue. 1. Provide three (3) suggestions on how “your parents”/they could increase their productivity.  B.) Think of a service job currently or formerly performed by you. 2. Discuss how productivity could have been (or was) increased in that job
