Description
For gas exchange to occur quickly and efficiently, which typeof epithelium must be present on all respiratory surfaces?
a.stratified squamous epithelium
b.pseudostratified columnar epithelium

CHEM 280 West Coast University Acid Base Titration Case Study PPT
The goal of your Signature Assignment is to show that you can compute properties of solutions and analyze and interpret data. You will create a PowerPoint presentation that shows the detailed process of going through an acid/base titration like you would if you were in a physical lab.For the presentation:You will prepare a sample of an unknown concentration of acid to titrate using a known concentration of base. Refer to week 7 lab manual exercise for more details and examples. You will set-up a burette filled with a known concentration of base and use proper titration techniques to reach an end-point to the titration. You will then calculate the concentration of an acid on your own.For Part I:Create a PowerPoint presentation (minimum 6 slides) that covers the lab scenario above. Explain everything without any assumptions!Your slides must include(any section missing will result in points deducted):Purpose of a titration, what is titration and why do we perform titrationInstrumentation - what are the instruments, glassware used for an experimentChemicals and procedures. What chemicals are needed, list them and explain the procedure for this experiment. Be clear and specific for volumes (proper decimals) and molarity used. Observations and expectations. List the observations and write your expectations. This might include color change and when the equivalent point (endpoint) might be reached. For base, you must use NaOH, with your choice of concentration. Your chosen concentration must be with three decimals (e.g 0.100 M). Hint: sig figs...Calculations and Results. Show all your calculations and write your results for molarity of an acid.Include your thoughts on why understanding acid/base titration is important to your future career, and how you will use this concept as you complete your degree.you can use text, visuals, video links, etc as a supporting material. This can be written as a paragraph with 5-6 sentences or so.Feel free to ask me for feedback whether you are on the right track or not.Use graphics, diagrams, charts, tables and other visuals to illustrate your point and to make it more interactive.Your slides must be clear, concise, not too busy, and readable.Note: If you will use 50-mL burette for your procedure, you cannot use more than 50 mL of base for titration.Add the picture of buret that clearly shows the intervals. Remember to properly express your volume measurements with proper decimals. You can use various acids for your titration:easy: HCl, HNO3, acetic acid, etc.Finish Week 7 Labster's activities before starting with this assignment.Optional Week 7 Lab Manual Exercise is a good example what and how your titration should be done.Look at the answer key for how your calculations should look like.Your presentation must consist of more than merely a series of bullet points to earn full credit.Use the Notes section for each slide to fully explain your answers. You must demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the titration concept and show complete and clear calculations with proper units and significant figures. For Part II:Your instructor will provide guidance and examples for completing calculations for titration.Video and answer key to Week 7 lab exercise are provided belowRead chapter 13 and 14 for review solutions and acid-base reactionsThis assignment should be in current APA Style with both a title slide and a reference list that includes all of the sources used. At least two scholarly sources should be used (your textbook can be one of the sources). For proper referencing of your resources consult Library on Blackboard, APA 7th Edition Guide.See rubric for specific grading criteria. You will be graded based on the rubric; therefore, carefully read it before you start creating your assignment. Remember it is 100 points, so your work must show quality and effort.Points: 100Due: 10/17/20, Sunday, 11:59 p.m. (Pacific time)Helpful materials:ANSWER FOR WEEK 7 LAB MANUAL ASSIGNMENTExtra link to titration onlineSupplemental Video:Here are the PPT for video below
