Pink clouds reveal Galactic collision in new Cocoon Galaxy Image
The Hubble Space Telescope lately captured a specked as well as a sparkling image of
Cocoon Galaxy. Over many years, the Cocoon Galaxy morphed from a well-designed spiral
shape like the one of a Milky Way Galaxy, which has the earth’s solar system to an extended
system of star births as well as star deaths. In this galaxy, the smaller galaxy was drawn in by
force of gravity, moving and bumping through the larger neighbor as well as altering properties
of the two (Astronomy, 2017). From the Hubble Space Telescope, the impact from the smaller
galaxy strained out to the bigger galaxy with few remaining signs of the former spiral shape just
like curved arm which connects the larger galaxy with the smaller one. The bright-pink colors in
the Hubble image show the active areas where the stars are forming. The galactic effect
dislodged dust and gas.
