This sports initiative is for urban kids, particularly city girls to have ports robs for physical activity, learning skills, as well as considerable time to avoid them being part and parcel of negative leisure such as violence, drugs and sexual activities (Samples, 2017). A clinical study as well indicates that recreation and sports programs can aid youth to ascertain healthy, lifelong and bodily activity patterns. Additionally, such body activities decrease depression and anxiety feelings; assist in controlling obesity and weight; while exercise builds and sustains healthy muscles, bones, and joints. Children in the city should have an opportunity for a triumphant start in schooling and sports despite race, age, gender, income, family composition or community. In response to such considerable discrepancy, Smart Body Youth Sports Club has been formed to offer sports program essential for Richmond kids to have same chances for structured sports. The program will, therefore, play a critical role in both physical development and health fitness of those who will have the opportunity of using the facility. According to Burke (2017), physical fitness is critical in growth and development on everyone. SPORTS FUNDRAISING PROPOSAL 3 Smart Body Youth Sports Club will collaborate with healthcare centers and Schools which will host games registration. Objectives • To enhance the involvement of youths in recreation programs and sports in the area of Richmond Metro. • To raise youth access to healthy development and health care. Mission The mission of Smart Body Youth Sports Club is to build a program of youth sport at the area of Richmond Metro enhancing both healthy developments as well as sport participation rates of the youth in the area. Key success • Maintaining the support of the City Council to offer scholarship finances for needy children who wish to take part in sports. • Engaging mutual support for the program of the sports. • Upholding a high consent rate to parents and youth of the area. Potential Collaborating Partners: • Richmond Bank. • Avian Computers • Recreation Department. • Temples Corporation. SPORTS FUNDRAISING PROPOSAL • Richmond Mall. • Rider Corporation. 4 Having this as a base support, Smart Body Youth Sports Club will raise extra funds from the sponsors of the program along with the fundraising campaigns (Burke, 2017). Therefore, Smart Body Youth Sports Club will have to organize a weekly fundraising campaign program which will be effective as from: I. 1st Saturday of Week one of November 2017 a fundraising campaign will take off at the city hall of Richmond II. 2nd Saturday of Week two of November 2017 a fundraising campaign will take off at the hall of Avian Computers III. 3rd Saturday of Week three of November 2017 a fundraising campaign will take off at the hall of Recreation Department of the Healthcare of Richmond IV. 4th Saturday of Week four of November 2017 a fundraising campaign will take off in the Hall of Temples Corporation V. Section 1: Introduction and Background
Smart Body Youths Sports Club has 20,000 members of the age between 5 to 15 years.
The club has had a chance to participate in various organized sports. However, in the previous
year, only 20% of the members participated. This shows that it has been experiencing some
financial strains when compared to their opponents who are in the suburbs and yet they have a
strong financial support. This has enabled them to acquire the required dress code and equipment
for their youths. This has caused demotivation on the Smart Body Youth members.
