In this essay, you will write a personal response to the following pair of articles.
Please read both articles in preparing to construct your first draft of your response essay. You might compare what Teller says to what Stewart says, consider your own experiences in writing classes when reading their arguments, and note areas of agreement, disagreement, or partial agreement/disagreement you have with either author.
Please incorporate both authors into your response essay. Do not simply respond to one of the authors. Respond to both Teller and Stewart as a pair of essays.

I agree strongly with both Teller and Stewart in the fact that most students nowadays
have issues in writing clear sentences. However, as Stewart states it, it is the teachers’ job to
provide guidelines to the student on how to improve on these writing. The three pillars of
composition pedagogy work despite Tellers argument that they do not. However, I agree with
Teller in that students hardly revise their drafts despite giving them the tools required and
enough time that they require to make the essays perfect (Teller, 2016). In my opinion, even
when the teachers give the students enough time as well as model them frequently on the
importance of performing the revisions, they will always see it as a waste of time (Stewart,
2016).
I further disagree with Stewart in that peer workshops are a good use of the class time.
