leading to the deaths of many children and causing severe birth defects. For instance, the rate of

necessity to help the society in dealing with this health problem. This policy defines the
infrastructural mechanisms as well as the implementation of the various programs in institutions
to help reduce the impact of the Zika virus (Jackson, 2016). The strategy targets the general
public. Different stakeholders are vital towards ensuring that the policy will be successful. The
primary two stakeholders are the government and the health facilities in the country.
