I need help with verification of my formulas in my Excel spreadsheet calculating an increase and decrease of percentages?
Assignment Question: What is percent? Write your height in inches. Suppose it increases by 15%, what would your new height be? Now suppose your increased height decreases by 15% what is your new height? I need 50-100 word explanation on what is percent and on how I obtained my results. The wording for this DQ can be misleading. You are asked to increase your current height by 15%. Then you are asked to take that new increased height and decrease it by 15%. You are not asked to decrease your original height by 15%. Also, make sure to define percent.I really need to make sure the formulas I have are accurate. I do not think my decrease percentage formulas and results are correct.

We highly recommend that you complete this activity on a computer.A list of StatCrunch directions is provided at the bottom of this text-box.ContextRecall the following example: The average gestation period, or time of pregnancy, of an animal is closely related to its longevity—the length of its lifespan. Data on the average gestation period and longevity (in captivity) of 40 different species of animals have been recorded. For the StatCrunch problem, you will analyze data for 40 species of animals in captivity. Variablesanimal: the name of the animal speciesgestation: the average gestation period of the species, in dayslongevity: the average longevity of the species, in yearsThe explanatory variable is average lifespan (longevity.) The response variable is length of pregnancy (average gestation period.)DataDownload the animals (Links to an external site.) datafile. Then upload the datafile in StatCrunch. If you need a reminder about how to do this, review the list of StatCrunch directions below.PromptIn the first question you will produce a scatterplot in StatCrunch (with longevity as the explanatory variable and gestation as the response variable) and then use StatCrunch to calculate the correlation coefficient.List of StatCrunch DirectionsPurchase StatCrunch (You only need to do this once.)Open StatCrunchDownload Excel Data FileUpload Excel Data File to StatCrunchDownload StatCrunch Output Window (do not take screenshots; please use these directions)Upload Files into Your Stat-Class Folder in CanvasEmbed Pictures in a Discussion Post (do not post attachments; please use these directions)Copy and Paste StatCrunch Text OutputCreate a Scatterplot in StatCrunchProduce the Correlation Coefficient in StatCrunchHere is a PDF document with all StatCrunch directions (Links to an external site.).Question 1Not yet graded / 10 ptsThese directions assume you have downloaded the animals datafile and uploaded it in StatCrunch.
