why is vitamn c better than vitamin d?
Vitamin C, a six carbon compound is also known as ascorbic acid. It is an antioxidant compared to vitamin D. It prevents various conditions such as scurvy and wrinkeled skin.
Vitamin C is also important as it helps protect the fat-soluble vitamins A and E, as well as fatty acids from oxidation . It is therefore a reducing agent and scavenger of radicals (sink of radicals).
