wavelength = h / mv

where h = Planck's Constant = 6.626x10^-34

m = mas

v = velocity

therefore,

wavelength = (6.626x10^-34 J*s)/( (3.344x10^-27 kg) (10^6 m/s)

= 1.9817x10^-13 m

That is in the Gamma Rays spectrum

The second part of the question is correct but the first part isn't. It is suppose to be in nanometers so I converted the answer you got into nm but it still isn't correct

I forgot to send you these tips that our professor emailed us. Maybe they'll help?

- The reaction: 01n + 11P -->  12d

∆m = mass of deuteron (mass of a proton + mass of a neutron). …it has to be in kg

- Use:  1.67494 x 10-24 grams for mass of  o1n

- Use:  31.67263 x 10-24 g for mass of

-  the mass of deuteron = 3.334370 x 10-24 g

mass of 11P = 1.67263 x 10-24 grams

Calculate ∆E = ∆m . C2  in J

Use Lambda; λ = hC/∆E where h = 6.626 x 10-34 J.s, C = speed of light = 3.0 x 108 m/s,

1 m = 109 nm.,

give 4 significant figures
