The organizational culture of a business is integral because it influences important
measures such as profitability, product quality, employee satisfaction, as well as customer
service. The dominant organizational culture influences the business’s performance and success
in the industry. This paper compares the organizational culture of Walmart, Coca-Cola, and
Amazon to identify factors that distinguish the businesses from one another and any similarities
that exist between the organizational cultures of these organizations.
McDonald’s culture is employee-centric. The organization’s commitment to its
employees is demonstrated in helping the workers attain their career and personal growth goals
as well as the nurturing of good relationships between the employees and their supervisors. The
company employees get training at Hamburger University on various business dimensions of the
employees’ choosing (Adams, 2009). The plenty of performance-based remuneration makes it
easier for the employees to attain their financial goals. This employee-centered culture
demonstrated at McDonald’s is quite different from the organizational culture demonstrated at
Amazon. The Amazon culture is very intense and result-oriented where the employees are put
