first we have to find the mols of CaO

mols=mass/molar mass

CaO mols=2.4/56

=0.043mols

according to the blanced equation

CaO:CaCO3 mol ratio=1:1

so produced CaCO3 mols=0.043mols

mass of product=mols*molar mass

molar mass of CaCo3=100gmol^-1

mass of product=0.043*100

=4.3g

answer is 4.3g
