how many grams of oxygen can be dissolved in water at 25 degrees celsius to prepare a 2500.0 grams of solution with a concentration of 23.5 ppm?
Using relation :
concentation in ppm = [(grams of O2 (solute) / grams of solution )]*10^ 6
grams of O2 = [ (grams of solution) * (concentation in ppm ) ] / 10^6
[(2500.0 g) x (23.5 ) ] / 10^6
= 0.05875 g O2(answer)
