              4 FeCl3 (s) + 3 O2 (g) -> 2 Fe2O3 (s) + 6Cl2 (g)

b) redox reaction 

c)  26.5/162.2 = 0.162 moles of fecl3 

 and one mole of fecl3 =react with 3 moles of HCl 

                                      moles of HCl required = 0.162*3 =0.490 mol

 V HCl = 0.492/2 = 0.082 L = 82 ml

 the oxidation state of Fe is +3  in both FeCl3 as well as Fe2O3 

 but Cl- going to  oxidation to Cl2

 

 therefor oxidation  is occuring
