Communication Management
Part 1
Question #1
a) Title Description
i. Figure 1- The title description clearly illustrates a percentage comparison of the
various wastes produced in economic establishments. A person who wants to
study the chart knows what the figure will represent.
ii. Figure 2- The title description needs to be explained to a person who wants to
study the bar chart. The title has grammatical errors, which leaves a gap for
readers to understand and internalize. Firstly, the word ‘waste’ cannot be
associated with ‘important ‘and the title lacks conjunctions (Hunter et al., 2019).
b) Focal points
i. Figure 1- the percentage graph has major focal points which are clearly
explained, and one can easily understand the context of the figure. The primary
point of focus is the waste produced illustration and how the figure depicts the
ii. Figure 2- the figure has blunted focal points, which are hard to understand
because the bar code needs to show the actual figures of the waste percentages.
Thus, the bar chart hardly captures readers' attention due to dull colors and
inaccuracy (Truex, 2019).
c) Information sufficiency
i. Figure 1- the information provided is detailed. The percentage graph analyses
multiple waste products and defines colors on the mini-map to enable readers to

understand the distinctive difference in all waste products. However, the chart
needs to clarify the percentage difference; thus, a reader may find measuring and
calculating percentages challenging.
ii. Figure 2- the information provided needs more detailed information and data that
a reader can not clearly understand; thus, it forces a person to work with
proximation. The quantity provided needs to be illustrated in terms of mass and
weight, thus causing inaccuracy in the figures generated.
d) Ease of processingi. Figure 1- The percentage graph is hard to process because material comparison
and the color use...
