##### Limit problem: evaluate

 Calculus Tutor: None Selected Time limit: 1 Day

# s-->pi/2+ (from positive direction) of -tan(s)

Apr 28th, 2015

Limit of - tan s does not exist or is undefined as s approaches from positive direction.  In other words, if you approach this function from the right, -  tan pie/2 goes to infinity as a result, the limit does not exist or undefined.

So the answer would be infinity correct?

Suggest to use " undefined" because in mathematics, it is more appropriate.

But if the answer choices contained -inf or +inf ? It would be positive infinity? Bc there is not undefined

Apr 28th, 2015

If the answer choices contains -infinity then use" - infinity "
