A planetarium is a building which was built for the sole purpose of presenting
educational as well as shows for entertainment about astronomy as well as the night sky. On the
other hand a telescope is an instrument used by astronomers to observe remote objects. The
advantage of a planetarium in teaching astronomy is that it helps students see what is being
taught as theory enhancing their understanding of astronomy. The advantage of a telescope in
teaching astronomy is that it enables students it enables students to relate with how astronomers
do their research.

Human beings have made many myths as stories about stars in order to fulfill their
curiosity about how the stars came into existence. Additionally, the myths & stories enables
human beings to have a vague understanding of the stars. These stories do matter since they help
us to deeply understand astronomy. This is since it is from the Greek myths that most astronomy
students get to understand the origin of constellations (Trammel, 2010).
