Probability  =  favorable cases / total cases.

favorable cases  = 5 defective

total cases = 1160 calculators

P  = 5/1160 = 0.004310,

to find a probability as percent you need to multiply *100%

so P = 0.004310 * 100 = 0.431 = 0.4% to the nearest tenth percent

so the answer will be B. 0.4%
