The Stories: Gilman’s “The Yellow Wallpaper” And Chopin’s “The Story of an Hour”
Similarities
The two stories are similar in several ways. First, the main characters are ailing. In the
“the yellow wallpaper,” the narrator suffers from nervous depression in addition to her marriage
