Tibco BusinessWorks v. webMethods Integration Server
Tibco Business Works and webMethods Integration Server are both enterprise
integration platforms that provide a way to connect disparate systems and applications.
They both provide robust capabilities for data transformation, routing, and
orchestration. The main difference between the two platforms is that Tibco Business
Works is a Java-based platform while web Methods Integration Server is a NET-based
platform. This means that Tibco Business Works is more portable and can be deployed
on a variety of platforms, while the web Methods Integration Server is limited to
Windows platforms (Hung et al. 2012). Another difference is that Tibco Business
Works includes a graphical drag-and-drop interface for creating integration flows,
