5.I measure the use of nuts, trees and nesting
materials by two species of squirrel and find some strong overlaps in the uses
of nesting materials in particular. Is
it safe to conclude that these two species are competitors? Why or why not?
Natural selection is a process where the better of two species survive. If the two squirrel species both use the same materials, and if there is a decreasing supply of it, then the demand will become higher causes the squirrels to fight one another.
