How can you calculate an adult dose of 75mg of tamiflu for a 5year old child using literal equation in cowlings rule
Apr 30th, 2015

This is cowlings rule:

d=D(a+1)/24
So d=kids dose=?

D=adults dose=75mg

and a is the age of the kid. =5

So plug in our values, we get

d=75(5+1)/24=75/4=18.75mg
