##### Have 3 algebra questions i need answers to

 Algebra Tutor: None Selected Time limit: 1 Day

#1: The function rule C=10n + 26 relates the number of people n who attend a small concert to the cost in dollars C of the concert make a table of the input/output pairs to show the cost if 27,39,43 people attend

#2: explain how to write a function rule from the table below. Then write a function rule

x: 2 4 6

y: 1 0 -1

#3: A prototype rocket burns 159 gallons of liquid hydrogen fuel each second during a regular launch. Make a table that shows how many gallons of fuel are burned after 2,3,5 and 10 s

1. I think they are asking for the cost if 273,943 people attend. To do that you would simply input that number into n and solve for c.

C = 10(273,943) = 2,739,430

2. y = mx + b

m = -1/2

1 = -1/2(2) + b

1 = -1 + b

b = 2

y = -1/2x + 2

3. Simply times 159 x the number of seconds to figure out how many gallons burned.

After 2 seconds it would be 159g X 2 = 318g

3s = 477g

5s = 795g

10s = 1,590g

A chart would look likt

Time        Gallons

2s               318g

3s               477g

5s               795g

10s             1,590g

Thank you so much!

but in question #1 it says The function rule C=10n + 26 relates the number of people n who attend a small concert to the cost in dollars C of the concert make a table of the input/output pairs to show the cost if 27 ,39 ,43 people attend as in 2 digit numbers

You would plug in those numbers for n, solve for c, and create a table in a similar format like I did on #3.

ok thanks
