A pair of equations is shown below.

x + y = 5
y = x + 2

If the two equations are graphed, at what point do the lines representing the two equations intersect?

 A(2, 5)

  B(5, 2)

C(2, 3)

D (3, 2)

There must be some mistake with your choices or equations because

the graphs intersect at (1.5, 3.5)

Your right I apologise but my problem did not post properly.

The two equations are actually

x plus y equals 5

and

y equals one half x plus two
