The ΔG°\' of the reaction is -9.47 kJ ·mol–1. Calculate the equilibrium constant for the reaction. (Assume a temperature of 25° C.)

What is ΔG at body temperature (37.0° C) if the concentration of A is 1.5 M and the concentration of B is 0.75 M?

ΔGo   = -RTln K

-9470 J/mol = -8.314 *298 ln K


K =  45.60

ΔG = ΔG0 +RT ln[A]/[B]

ΔG = -9470 +8.314 *310 ln[1.5/0.75]

         = -7683.52 J/mol
