My teacher explained that evaporation occurs in cool, dry air. But why doesn't it occur in humid air when temperatures are higher?
Humidity = 100 * actual vapor pressure /eq vapor pressure.
so humidity contains wet air therefor the evaporation of water does not occur fast.
while in dry air having lower temp have high capacity to evaporate water. therefore fast evaporation in dry cool air.
I hope its clear
regarding further explanation plz let me know.
