Question description

Only need 1 paragraph

  • Application development poses a challenge because of the proliferation of form factors (tablets, smartphones, laptops, desktop, etc.) that application must support. HTML5 is the latest version of the markup programming language for building Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) that support different form factors. Microsoft Silverlight can also be used to build cross-platform browser applications. Imagine you are the Web project manager for a medium-sized company, and provide usability and RIA application development reasons why you would use one over the other.
  • The most common type of expanding menu on Windows or Mac applications is the cascading menu. Windows 7 introduced jump lists. Compare and contrast jump lists to cascading menus in terms of ease of use, intuitive design, and usability.
