suppose the X milligram of compound one and Y milligram compound two

X *0.8 + Y *0.4 = 50 1

X *0.1 +Y 0.2 = 20 2

solve this two equations by elimination method

equation 1 *0.1 and equation 2 *0.8

then subtract

(0.04-0.16)Y = (5-16)

Y = 91.66 mg

put the values of Y in equation 1

then

X = 16.67 mg
