Though the Federalists and Anti-Federalists perceived the Constitution very differently, generally they both seemed to have a similar understanding about the “nature of man” or “human nature.” In a 1-2 page paper, explain what the federalists and anti-federalists were referencing. How did they describe this nature? How do the Bible readings spread light on these phrases? Do you see the nature of man at work in our government? How? What is the cure for the nature of man? Without the cure, what will become of our society and government?

In July 2007, the United Auto Workers (UAW) went through a difficult time in contract negotiations. "The Big Three," known as GM, Ford, and Chrysler, had lost billions of dollars in recent years and were fighting to save jobs and pensions. The UAW saved jobs by cost reductions and agreeing to new changes in labor contracts. Some of the costs reductions included lower wages for all new union workers, a four-year wage freeze for all current union workers, and job guarantees to keep plants open.Discuss some of the reasons why union membership has changed over the years.
