This is a yearly initiative by health activists around the world to help dispel myths about this male sterilization procedure. Doctors participating in the event aim to perform as many vasectomies as possible, in 250 countries around the world, in 24 hours. Despite the vasectomy being a fairly non-invasive procedure, many men refuse to have it.
