xy+10+5x+2y

This one you want to rearrange before grouping to make it easier to factor.

xy + 5x + 2y + 10

Now group the first two and factor out the gcf from each.

(xy + 5x) + (2y + 10) = x(y + 5) + 2(y + 5)

Then you can use the matching parentheses as one factor and what is outside the parentheses as the other.

(y + 5)(x + 2) is your final answer.
