Criminal defense attorneys perform the most significant role in the United States of
America criminal justice system. They usually have a mandate and duty to deliver for their
clients and individually they play an essential role in ensuring that the individuals who are
accused of any criminal activity receive the due procedure of the law as well as enjoy every
possible advantage from their talent that justice system will allow. In the process of conducting
these functions or duties, the criminal defense attorneys are primary participants in the public
ethics play which is also the critical element of the criminal trial. People who have received
citations for the violations of the criminal laws may always seek to hire a criminal defense
attorney who will help them in defending them in the criminal court of the law. It is also evident
that not all clients or prospective clients have much knowledge and awareness of the
responsibilities of the criminal defense attorney in the judicial justice system. It should be noted
that the roles and responsibilities of the criminal defense attorney usually extend far beyond
merely seeking to prevent someone from being subjected to a jail sentence. Therefore, the paper
will attempt to explain the role of the criminal defense attorney by providing an analysis of the
case law on the topic of discussion, comparing and contrasting the state statutes on the role of the
criminal defense attorney as well as highlight the recent legal developments on the research
topic.
Understanding the case of Roe v. Wade can be valuable in providing the best approach to
educate and be clear on the role of criminal defense attorney on the penal judicial system. In
1973, the United States of America Supreme Court upheld the previous decision or ruling
concerning the rights to security and privacy according to the due process which is outlined in
the 14th Amendment. According to the 14th Amendment, the law prohibits both the state and

While the Code addresses the roles of test developers and test users separately, you will be following the standards for test users and, specifically, the section on selecting tests (refer page 5). There are nine elements to consider when selecting a test. You will focus on the first four of these elements for this assignment.In your paper:Identify a test category that is relevant to your academic and professional career goals. The List of Tests by Type document identifies the 10 categories you may choose from.
