In this report authors try to implicate, through a case of 35 year old female, that in vitro
fertilization could be an alternative source in emergency where egg could be recovered
through manual suction instead of the automated negative pressure suction procedure.
Such treatment methods resulted in positive pregnancy tests in addition to suitable
fertilization rates of oocyte without any further complication in procedure. The reported
method is a cost effective one as compared to others because manual suction is done
through syringe in order to create the negative pressure especially in case of emergencies,
could be an attractive option. One notable inconvenience of manual suction is that
flushing of aspirated follicles could not be applied which is usually not applicable for
normal responders.
