Explanation & Answer
nuclear fission is defined as nuclear reaction whereby the nucleus of an atom splits into many smaller parts. the small fragments are almost equal to half of the original mass. two or more neutrons are emitted too.
there are two major forces that work that is the attraction between protons and neutrons and electrostatic repulsion between the protons. Therefore for the small nuclei, most of the nucleons interact with one another strongly and the strong force dominates.

1.
Compare the slope of the
distance vs. time graph to the average of all your velocity values. Are they
close? Why or why not? What does the slope of a distance (or displacement) vs.
time graph mean? Explain the answer using your data and include your Distance
vs. Time graph and a chart of distance, time, and average velocity.2.

Final Paper Organic ChemistryThere are ~20-50 new pharmaceutical drugs released each year. You must choose a drug that has been released within the last 5 years and write about it. You can find your drug by doing a Google search.• Times new Roman font 12 must be used.• The beginning of your paper (page 1) should have the following information in the order listed:1. your name2. the school’s name3. course name4. date 5. Name of the drug your focusing on6. Lewis structure of the drug • The body of the paper must start with the name of the drug inbold.• The body of the paper must contain between 900-1200 words (about 3 pages).• The first ~1/2 of your paper should summarize the drug (uses, side effects, synthesis etc...)• The second ~1/2 of your paper should explain how the first half of your paper relates to concepts that you learned about in the course (certain functional groups, reactions, organic properties, nomenclature etc ...)• Works cited / references must be listed at the end of the paper.• When you have completed your paper, copy and paste it into blackboard. What is the function of the umbilical cord?
How do you tell if your fetal pig a male or a female? Draw examples of the male and female
external anatomy structures and explain how the structures differentiate between a male and a
female pig.
What is the purpose of the epiglottis? Where is it located? What does it protect? Why would that
be important?
What is the purpose of the sternum and ribcage in the pig?
How does the number of lobes in the fetal pig liver compare to the number of lobes in a human
liver? What is the function of the liver in a pig?
The picture below shows a dissection of the stomach of the pig. Describe what you see on the
inside of the stomach, and then describe the functions of each of the labeled structures.
How long is the small intestine? What is the purpose of such a long length?
Each of the following systems has a list of organs that make up the system. For each
system, make a drawing that shows the position of the organs in the fetal pig, and then
briefly describe the organ’s significance to the organ system and the animal. You can
use the photos in the online dissection websites for guidance in the drawing.
Respiratory System: epiglottis, trachea, bronchial tubes, bronchioles, alveoli, lungs
Reproductive system: you should draw the reproductive system from your pig and then
find another pig of the opposite sex from another group and draw that system. Again,
use one of the online photos so that you can see what this system looks like in a
dissected pig.
Reproductive System (Female): ovaries, fallopian tubes, horns of uterus, uterus, vagina
Reproductive System (Male): testes, epididymis, vas deferens, penis
Digestive System: tongue, epiglottis, liver, gall bladder, small intestine, stomach, large
intestine, esophagus, pancreas, anus
