Early childhood education primarily relates to the formal and informal teaching of young
children. Infant/toddler education, on the other hand, denotes the education of those children that
have not passed the age of two. The infant-toddler development course in early childhood
education offers an avenue for one to learn more about the various ways that children relate to
their environment as well as their different spans of growth as they pass the various milestones
related to development (Howe, & Covell, 2013). After taking the course, I have learned many
