ABSTRACT
Reinforcement behavior in relation to gluttony requires an analysis of how food choices
affect behaviors such as gluttony. This article also evaluates how reinforcement works and the
types of reinforcement which include both positive and negative reinforcement. Evaluating the use
of food reinforcement in modification of eating behaviors such as gluttons gives different
approaches in formulating reinforcement strategies to use for handling gluttony cases.
Modification strategies requires the evaluation of reinforcer value and other influential factors such
as behavioral cost.
INTRODUCTION
Eating behaviors are associated with health and habits such as gluttony, or rather excessive
eating has been known to cause disorders such as obesity. It is therefore important for people to
learn how to control their eating habits and diets to achieve healthy eating. Exercising restraint can
be quite difficult when faced with the strong desire towards a more appealing option. Different
measures must, therefore, be put up to regulate food behaviors such as gluttony. Food
