  1. Calculate the number of moles of solute present.

molar mass of acetic acid= 60.05 g/mol

moles of the acetic acid= 30/60.05= 0.5 moles

2. Calculate the number of liters of solution present.

convert 850ml to litres= 850/1000=0.85litres
3. Divide the number of moles of solute by the number of liters of solution.

Molarity= moles of solute/litre solution

molarity= 0.5/0.85

molarity= 0.6M
