Description
Narrative Poem: A poem that tells a story. The Odyssey, while an epic, is also a narrative poem.
Assignment: Using your prior knowledge about a hero (real, movie, comic book, etc.), tell the story of the hero’s origin or of a great battle with one of the hero’s main adversaries.
Requirements:
¨Tells a story of one specific event in the hero’s life
¨Is formatted like a poem, with a clear and consistent rhyme scheme
¨Consists of at least 20 lines
¨Final draft is typed and pays attention to spacing/use of stanzas
