Describe the differences between the classes of levers in terms of the effort, resistance, effort distance and resistance distance. Include diagrams to illustrate your answer.

Fulcrum in the middle: the force is applied on one side of the fulcrum the resistance on the other side, for example, pair of scissors.
The effort is applied on one side of the resistance ,Resistance in the middle,and the fulcrum is located on the other side, for example, a nutcracker, a bottle opener .
Third-class levers have the effort placed between the load and the fulcrum. The effort always travels a shorter distance and must be greater than the load.ex-Hammer
