Describe the differences between the classes of levers in terms of the effort, resistance, effort distance and resistance distance. Include diagrams to illustrate your answer.

3 types of levers

Fulcrum in the middle: the force is applied on one side of the fulcrum the resistance on the other side, for example,  pair of scissors.

class 2

  The effort is applied on one side of the resistance ,Resistance in the middle,and the fulcrum is located on the other side, for example, a nutcracker, a bottle opener .

class 3

 Third-class levers have the effort placed between the load and the fulcrumThe effort always travels a shorter distance and must be greater than the load.ex-Hammer
