Organizational behavior (OB) can be defined as the relationship between human
behavior and the organization. It is a field of study that investigates the effect that a person or
a group has on the behavior in the organization with the goal of applying this knowledge to
improve the overall performance of the organization. OB helps the management to
understand how people, structure, environment, and technology can influence the
productivity of a company. People normally join an organization to lend their services as a
way of helping to achieve the set goals or objectives. In this organization, there is a structure
that is set to help in the operations, there is also the aspect of technology seen through the
machinery and the gadgets within the organization that help to achieve the set goals
(Almandhari et al., 2016).
HAYA Water is a water treatment company whose goal is to help build the city it is
built on, to become among the top citizen in the world by building a water reuse system is
that is able to connect to more than 80% of the town's residents ("HAYA Water," n.d.). The
company uses the people and technology to help it achieve its goals. The employees are well
compensated to influence their morale in doing the jobs that they are supposed to do. The
company has also availed up to date technology to help improve the quality of work and also
to increase production. The business is also located in an isolated area to minimise the
interruptions that may occur and negatively affect the employees from performing their
duties. The company has been able to implement good organizational behavior practices that
have resulted in an exceptional performance from the people they have employed.

HAYA Water uses the system approach theory in management. This theory considers
the organization to be formed by parts; these parts are the subsystems representing the

various departments within the organization. These subsystems interact to ensure that the
goals of the larger system are achieved. HAYA Water main project is on water reuse and in
