Are refugee camps always temporary features, or have some been occupied for several decades? Can you identify any that have been inhabited by the same refugee groups for more than a generation
Refugee camps are supposed to be temporary features. But this is not always the case as some camps stay open for long periods of time due to continued conflict in the refugee's home countries.
An example is the Daadab refugee camp in Noyrth Easten Kenya than harbours Somali refugees. It has been open since 1991 and has played host to more than one generation.
