1.  the y - intercept is when x=0  we have y=x - 1 so : y = -1 

2. the y - intersept represent of wolf population the beginning of the wolf population

3. the slope is  a on the equation : y=ax + b  and is eguale to :  a = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1) = (15 - 0) / (300 - 3) 

so a = 0.05 

4. In the equation of a straight line (when the equation is written as "y = mx + b"), the slope is the number "m" that is multiplied on the x, and "b" is the y-intercept, where the line crosses they-axis. This useful form of the line equation is sensibly named the "slope-intercept form".
