    Florida representative Alan Grayson might have improperly used his office in which
    he used the office to handle personal and financial matters involving a family run hedge fund.
    The outgoing congressman was also accused in running political activities that related to his
    bid to run for the post of senate. The findings were concluded by a 986-page investigation
    that was released by the Office of Congressional ethics on 5th April 2017. The report by the
    ethics committee acts as grand jury in which it makes recommendations to lawmakers on
    whether it should investigate ethics claims (Lipton, 2016). On his part, Mr. Grayson stated
    that the allegations might have been caused by mismanagement on his side but not a case that
    called for ethics violations.
