Globalization and Child Labor Concerns Globally
Globalization has brought about greater complexities when it comes to how business is
run and has created several challenges regarding ethical problems related to various activities
(Daly et al. 2000). With globalization, the business environment has become increasingly
competitive. Businesses have been forced to look for ways that they can compete effectively in a
more competitive and bigger platform which is the world market (Daly et al. 2000).
Additionally, the customers have become even more discerning thanks to the increased
availability of a variety of products that they can choose from that come from organizations all
over the world. To stay afloat, agencies have had to look at ways of gaining a competitive edge
by offering a high-quality products or services at competitive rates. To do so, organization have
had to look for cheaper ways of production, and many have looked to the third world economies
for cheaper and more available labor options. However, that has introduced ethical complexities
because of the practice of child labor that has been rampant in many areas especially in parts of
