Balance the half reactions in acidic conditions, write the overall balanced redox reaction then calculate delta G standard in kJ/mol for the reaction as written.

CuO(s) ---> Cu(s)  E(standard)= + 0.62V

Al(s) ---->Al2O3 (s) E(standard) = -1.66 V
