The domain is all real numbers except -1/2 where the denominator is zero.

There is a vertical asymptote x=-1/2 as f(x)->∞ as x->-1/2.

When x->∞ then f(x) -> -5/2.
(   f(x) = -5/2 + 7/[2*(1+2x)]  )
So there is a horizontal asymptote y=-2.5.
