  1. At a constant pressure, a sample of gas occupies 420mL at 210K.  What volume does the gas occupy at 250K?

P1T1=P2T2, so P2=P1T1/T2=(120*400K)/600K=80kPa

2. 27°C=300K

V1T1=V2T2, so T2=(V1T1)/V2=(8*300)/12=200K


1. V1T1=V2T2, so V2=(V1T1)/T2=(0.42L*210K)/250K=0.3528L=352.8mL=353mL
