Sometimes a hero has to kill an innocent person. Do you agree or disagree with this
statement? Please explain yourself in the context of ‘The Banality of Heroism’ by Franco
and Zimbardo.

At times a good person becomes bad, depends on circumstances. I agree that sometimes a
hero has to kill an innocent person. A hero is expected to defeat evil. A hero needs courage to
triumph over evil and leads a good life. Franco & Zimbardo expressed this fact through a prison
scenario to evaluate what happens when good people are put in a dehumanizing situation.
Situations can make a good person cross the line and become evil. Take an instance of
