1.What are the major types of government Aristotle considers and what are their perversions?
Aristotle considers three important types of government. These include kingship,
constitutional, and the aristocracy (Konstan, & Micheal, 2014). According to Aristotle, they have
an overall perversion that, the rulers associated with these rules cater self-interest instead of the
general interests. He considered kingship a corrupt tyranny government, aristocracy as an
oligarchy, and democracy is the perversion of the most democratic leadership.
2. How does Aristotle define justice? How is this definition relevant to the issue of social

Aristotle defines justice as lawlessness or fairness which treats people according to their
deserts (Konstan, & Micheal, 2014). He elaborates his statement in that injustice is mostly

3. What, according to Aristotle, are the characteristics that qualify a person for the role of a

Firstly, a person qualifies for a politician role if he is a lawgiver and maker. Politicians
should have a clear mind on the types of laws they wish to give for implementation. Secondly,
they must be law-abiding citizens who introduces reforms and follow them. Lastly, one qualifies
to be a real politician if they can produce, operate, and maintain the legal system guided by the
universal principles.
4. What does Aristotle mean when he says that “for men of pre-eminent virtue there is no law”?

they determine how the rules should be carried out. They surpass others and are considered
distinguished in a way. Just like in the current society, the political class makes amendments
which favor them mostly but undermine the citizens.
