Analysis of Robert Rodrigues's 2005 Film “Sin City”
“Sin City” is an American film which featured in the year 2005. It was produced, written
and directed by both Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez. Based on the Frank Miller's graphic
novel the film is a neo-noir crime anthology of America (Miller 2). The film is mainly founded
on the miller's first, third, and fourth books on his original comic series. The part of the film
known as ‘the Hard Goodbye' narrates of a guy who boards on a ruthless rampage just to look
for the serial killer of his and only sweetheart. The man goes eliminating any person including
the police who comes to a stop his mission of searching and murdering the hitman who
eliminated his lover. The second scene is known as the ‘Big Fat Kill' whose much emphasis is on
an everyman who gets caught in a city war and violence among the mob, a gang of mercenaries,
prostitutes as well as police (Miller 3). There is also a part of the film that covers the famous
scene referred to as the ‘That Yellow Bastard' which focuses on an aging lawmaker who defends
a young lady from being murdered by a grotesque looki...
