Introduction
Societies that we as humans grow up in, tend to create their own systems of meanings
through the process that is referred to as culture. Languages, symbols and other things are
incorporated into the system and are well maintained for centuries by specific institutions to keep
the balance. (Serpell 1994). Culture is indeed an essential aspect of our part of life as it tends to
shape our behavior, character, and primarily the perception of the things one encounters and or
endures. Thus, it is essential to examine the differences culture brings in our world and how it
makes sense regarding interpretations, meaning and understanding through the mind as well as
the concept of intelligence that defines it.
Culture 1 and Intelligence

they can not only recognize the complexity as well as a contradiction in it but also play their
social roles successfully and willingly while in different societies, they view intelligence as a
means to devise categories as well as engaging individuals in rational debate.

typical in other cultures except for the Westerns only (Sternberg, 2016). Whereas, in contrast, the
Eastern countries are not easily convinced by the work presented and may even go a notch hig...
